The Jewish Community Foundation of Calgary (JCFC) has been granting post-secondary scholarships since 1998. Scholarships are granted annually from a number of our endowment funds for students pursuing post-secondary education.
Awards may be granted on the basis of need and/or merit, including academic merit, community leadership and future life plans.
In past years awards varied from $180 – $2,500 with most grants ranging from $250 to $1,000. In 2016, ten scholarships were awarded.
“I feel so honoured and blessed to be part of such a special community and one that believes in and supports its members, especially the next generation. Thank you.” – 2016 JCFC Scholarship Recipient
